Cut to full body shot of a man lying on a couch. Pan view past a few many empty PILL BOTTLES scattered on the coffee table next to him. A name is seen on all of the labels: CARTER GARAN. CARTER seems asleep. Slow zoom towards his face.

(O.S) VOICE OF CARTER

At first i thought it would be awful, seeing as I tried to end it myself originally. And no, I don’t see this as a message sent from above to get my shit together.

Stop zoom on the CARTER’s face. Pause. He then violently starts awake with heavy, painful breath, and proceeds to fall off of the couch and off screen. A dull THUMP is heard
